Weekly summary

-3lbs this week, which is great! I'm still feeling slightly sluggish and it hasn't shown on my body as much as I would've liked but nonetheless it's progress which can't be sniffed at.

I think the reason that I'm not looking much leaner is due to not having done extra exercise (I do a lot of walking as me and my partner don't own a car and occasionally do 30-day-shred workouts) simply due to the fact that my complete routine is in the process of being disrupted. On Tuesday I'll be going away to Reading festival (eee!) for 5 days and away from home for 9, when I get back I have to sort out packing as we're moving from Bradford to York on the 7th of September and starting college on the 10th! Such a rush BUT I'm hoping once we're settled there and back into a routine that exercise will become easier to prioritize. I really want to start the C25K (couch to 5K) programme once we've moved as I've never felt comfortable running the streets of Bradford and feel I'd be more at ease in York, meaning I may even enjoy running!

Other than that, I've had a few too many treats and a few too many drinks as I got my A level results on Thursday and it looks likely that I'll have to reapply to university and resit my history as despite an A* in business and an A in english literature, I got a C in my history. Although I've sent off for a remark of my exam and am hoping to also get my coursework looked at again as I genuinely think a mistake has been made, I'm not overly convinced the mistake will be rectified (I had a similar problem with my english exam last year in which the exam board admitted the mark I'd been given was incorrect but they didn't have to change it - resulting in me having to resit and getting near full marks). I needed AAA for York university and, in all honesty, it's the only university I want to go to study English Literature as the course is completely perfect for me and I get the opportunity to learn a language, something I've always regretted not doing in school.

Hey ho, onwards and upwards!
