Back - finally!

After an extended break from this blog due to Reading festival and moving home, meaning that I've not had access to the internet for a while, I'm finally back although throughout this hectic period dieting has definitely taken a back step!

However, last week after a visit to the doctors I found that I'm a whole 10kg lighter now than I was 6 months ago! (and that's even after gaining from Reading festival) This came as quite a shock as when being weighed at the doctors I was lighter than my scales showed me as before the festival and I've got a feeling that they show me to be a whole stone heavier than I actually am so will probably be weighing in at a nearby Boots for the foreseeable future until I'm able to invest in some better scales.

This revelation has definitely given me a boost but I've also been using the My Fitness Pal app to help myself get back on track which I expect anyone reading this will have heard of. I've actually been finding it very useful and it's got a lot more foods already on the system than I would've expected. Also, failing that, it's incredibly easy to add your own as long as you have the packet to hand with all the nutritional info. 

So, I'm hoping now that a routine is getting set into place that improving my diet will become easier to manage and I'll keep you all up to date!
